I was working with Steve Ahmed and am completely appalled by his lack of communication and flat out laziness. He listed my home for sale about a month ago. I moved nearly an hour away and he agreed to maintain the lawn for me and water plants. I would get maybe one update a week. I finally went to the house today and am horrified. He clearly hasnt been to the house since the open house (three weeks ago) seeing as the open house sign is still up. All of my planted flowers are dead. The yard is completely overrun with dandelions and over grown nearly to the knees. I'm embarrassed that the house was being shown like this. He raised my asking price by 10k (which was already high end for the market) yet allowed it to be shown looking like trash. All he would have had to do is let me know he couldnt make it/the yard needed taken care of and I would have sorted it out. Ive never dealt with such lack of care and commication in this industry before.

Steve Ahmed was an excellent agent for us when we went through the process of selling our home and buying a new house. He gave us many helpful tips on how to stage the house we were selling tomake it more appealing to prospective buyers. He also went to great lengths to become knowledgeable on exactly what we were looking for in a house to buy. The area we were looking to buy in is located a big distance from where we were selling but that never deterred Steve from showing us houses in that area, He never wasted our time showing us houses he knew we would not be interested in. When we found the house we wanted to buy he went well beyond what was required to make both the selling of our house and buying the new house as easy as possible. He even was able to get the bank that owned the house we were buying to lower the price of the house beyond what our offer was. That is unheard of as far as I know. We were dreading the house buying and selling process but Steve was there for us every step of the way. I cannot imagine what more he could have done for us. We will highly recommend Steve Ahmed to anyone who is thinking of buying or selling a house.
