Katy is the best. She knows the Newport market extremely well and coached me through the entire process. She was very patient with me. Joy was a phenomenal realtor! She helped us find and close on a home quickly in a hot market during a relocation for our family. She was always responsive, making time for us even at odd hours and getting us in to see properties on a very constrained schedule. Her expertise helped us as we learned about the particularities of homes in our new community--for example common heating methods, septic systems, etc.--which were new to us. While we inspected kitchens and bedrooms, she ensured that we also looked closely at electrical boxes and oil tanks. She also proved to be an excellent negotiator on several key items as our purchasing process drew to a close. She has many good local contacts with service providers such as mortgage brokers and home inspectors that helped us along. Finally, Joy is a just a kind and caring person, who even befriended our young son.
