Let me be very straight to the point; Bette redefined customer service for us! We had viewed some places with a different realtor couple months prior, when we found this specific house we thought was really beautiful. The house is located in Catskill NY. We called Bette on a Saturday morning (already on are way from NYC) and she organized a viewing right away for the same day. After having viewed the house she showed us specs and pictures of 3 other properties she felt could work for us too. We drove by one and scheduled a viewing to another property the next morning. It was absolutely a contender, but we immediately fell in love with the first house we saw. Bette arranged another viewing that same day. We thought about it overnight and put in an offer on Monday afternoon. Bette guided us through the process of negotiating a price and 2 days later we had an accepted offer. She organized a very knowledgeable and experienced inspector for us (it is a 19th century home), who took 3 (!) hours explaining everything that caught his attention. There was a foundation issue. Bette went out of her way to find a mason (she called 10 local companies!) to come and do an estimate ASAP. She Face-timed me in when the estimator was on-site, so I didn't have to drive all the way up again. She helped us renegotiate the selling price with the seller and connected us to a great local bank and attorney. She made it such a smooth process for us. Even if Bette has been in real estate for a number of years, she told us that only just very recently she became a real estate agent. She is not only a professional, but is also a passionate person that truly cares and she goes out of her way to assist her client. She was always available if we had questions or needed help. There is no doubt in my mind that I would use her again would I be buying another home. But I don't think that will happen anytime soon, as we found our dream home! I guess it is clear; we highly recommend Bette. As a matter of fact friends of ours have already started a search with her.
