This review pertains to Doxie Jelks.My husband and I met Doxie at an open house for a home we did not buy. But we had an immediate connection and she stayed in touch with us. Three months later when we decided to sell our home we called Doxie. We were doubtful our home would sell since this was our second go at it. Within two weeks Doxie had us an offer! Thirty days later our home was sold and with her help we already had an offer on a new home. The purchase of our new home was full of events but through out the process Doxie was there in every way. Extremely responsive to my unlimited text messages sometimes at odd hours and even we she may not have agreed with our decisions she always tactfully and professionally weighed in with her opinion in a way that helped us reconsider. Lisa Gaines gave us great advice from the start, almost a year before we put our house on the market. She helped us realize what we needed to do and, equally helpful, what we didn't, as well as how to make simple fixes that didn't cost much. She was patient and unfailingly supportive when our on-the-market date had to be pushed back as contractors were hard to find. She guided us through the many forms we had to fill out and tasks that must be done, as well as when things had to be done and in what order. She answered our many questions promptly, often outside of business hours. And when the house went on the market, she guided us through the process of accepting the best offer and closing the deal. I recommend her, and her partner Doxie Jelks, who was very actively involved when the house was on the market, scheduling the many showings and ensuring that our house got positive attention.
