Analytic, Thoughtful, Supportive, and Extremely Market Aware Melinda made the entire process of selling our home remarkably easy. She was enormously helpful and insightful in guiding us through the initial steps of listing our home (decluttering, staging, listing text, photos, etc), and determining a realistic listing price that made market sense and left us quite happy. She brought to bear her well vetted list of contacts that helped move everything along flawlessly. When some unexpected Buyer issues did arise, Melinda was the much needed cool head, strategic thinker, and thoughtful soul that not only got us through the moment of difficulty, but landed us on the other-side (with a new Buyer) in a much better place, in every regard. I can't say enough great things about Melinda. Throughout the entire process of purchasing our home, she went above and beyond in ensuring that we would find a home we loved. We were originally referred to a few other realtors, some of which either didn't return our phone calls, or couldn't find the time to schedule a showing. We came across a house we were interested in on Zillow, and Melinda happened to be the listing agent. We sent her a message and within minutes she responded, and she remained just as responsive throughout the entire process. Within a couple of days she put together a list of homes to show us, and it didn't take long for her to understand what our needs and wants were in a home. I was very impressed with her overall knowledge and expertise of things, and she knew right away if there were any issues that may not have passed inspection. She was honest with us the entire time, and we felt that she truly cared about what we wanted more than just making commission, which is rare nowadays. I was a lot more picky than my husband and didn't want to just settle on any house, and Melinda was very patient and understanding every step of the way. There was a home that we kept coming across online that she wanted to show us, and to be honest I wasn't crazy about the photos but I always trusted her so I went to see it anyway. Just as she knew we would, we fell in love with the property and the home right away. It had everything we were looking for and more. We put it an offer and after a few months, we finally closed on the house! Melinda stuck with us the entire way and always made herself available to answer any questions or concerns we had, even on her day off. I couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Melinda as a realtor, and if it weren't for her I don't think we would be home owners today.
