You dont sell a house very frequently. What goes through your mind can be a little daunting. In a culture where DIY is common, it was suggested to sell my home myself. I interviewed multiple Realtors trying to understand where the market was, timing of sale, price point, and anything recommended in the way of preparing the home. It became apparent DIY was not what I wanted to do. Likewise, all the variables mentioned were aspects to weigh in terms of spending money vs. DIY. We were original owners of a home for 20 years. While the home was well maintained updates were needed along with depersonalization and decluttering. I expected I would have to empty the house and literally update everything and sterilize any color to an institutional blank canvas. Add to the process COVID-19 and I was stressed about selling. Andre Kocher was willing to meet on more than one occasion providing recommendations and market analysis. Post renovations and decluttering we met again with more changes and market updates. In addition, he provided guidance and counsel as to price. It was apparent Andre was not rushed, condescending, or critical of what was not accomplished. Instead, Andre was patient, supportive, direct, and complimentary of the progress. I made the decision to list with the Kocher Team, still with reservations, but that had more to do with me and the things you hear about bad experiences. I then was introduced to the Team, namely, Tiffany Kocher, my agent. To my surprise, everything fell into place easily from the pictures, to handling multiple offers, to buyer requests, and the contractual items necessary to sell. Tiffany's availability, communication and guidance was superb. Mind you, all this, while finalizing renovations and packing. Even faced with the death of a family member Tiffany, Andre, and the team was sensitive and supportive. Our experience while overwhelming the Kocher Team was the calm in the storm of our experience. Our outcome was above and beyond in so many ways along with a level of professionalism bar none. I strongly recommend the Kocher Team. To Tiffany, Andre, and the rest of the team, thank you sincerely for your services and support. We will be forever grateful. Well done!
