My wife and I were looking to buy our first home in the South Philadelphia area. We called Ryan looking for someone who knew the area well and would be able to guide us through the process as we had literally no idea what we were doing. He explained the home buying process every step of the way. Ryan knew the area inside and out, gave us insider tips about the area, didn't pressure us when we weren't interested in a home, and actively guided us away from homes that he knew were no good. Mike helped me and my wife buy and close on a home recently, and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor. Even though Mike is always busy and on the move, he's never too busy to respond to our inquiries or request to look at homes. He always responds to our questions promptly and never left us wondering if he got our message. We're impressed by his candid assessment and knowledge of home-ownership as well as the local market. He consistently showed up in advance of our appointment to assess the state of the property (outside and inside), and highlighted problem areas that we should be aware of and the positive aspects of the property once we arrived. The advice he gave us wasn't any different from what he would give to a close friend or family member. He genuinely cared about what was best for us and always does the right thing. The offer that he put together for us increased our chance of our offer being accepted (which was the case) and performed his role with a sense of purpose. Before we got to settlement, Mike noticed some work (included in the contract) that was not done up to par, so he made sure that he negotiated the terms for us to ensure that the work will be fulfilled to the standard we'd be satisfied with. Additionally, he made sure that all other loose ends were accounted for in the addendum so that there would be no grey area/surprises. Mike is an outstanding realtor with a level of integrity that it's hard to find these days, and I'll be recommending him to our friends and family moving forward.
