We were in the market for a realtor in early 2016. Al was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had nothing but good things to say. We were a very special case for Al. We wanted to buy a fixer-upper, and then go through the process of a 203K loan in the Philadelphia area. Al was very helpful for this as he had already gone through the same process himself. Because our bank kept on pushing back the settlement, the whole process took 4 months. During this time Al kept on his feet and kept on finding us new houses to look at, just in case for some reason the deal didn't work out. His communication and care and personal attention to his clients is outstanding. He really went above and beyond any realtor I have ever met and he made the process that would've otherwise been a nightmare into something much more tolerable. Ultimately we got the house that we wanted, in no small part thanks to Al's persistence, diligence and effort. He's always ready with a positive word, and his knowledge of real estate and the process was extremely helpful. I don't know if we could've done this without him. He even occasionally checks up on us to make sure everything is going well from our side long after the house was purchased. If and when you ever buy a house, I definitely recommend him. You won't find a better realtor in the area.

We met Al initially as new prospective home buyers and was ambivalent at the time. Al was able to assist us through difficult decisions from encouragement to start the process and through the tenuous process of closing. I must say we had many questions which Al helped us answer or pointed us in the right direction. Given that we conducted a significant portion of the home search out of state, we asked Al to do much of the leg work and trusted him to identify properties that matched out unique tastes. He was honest and was great at negotiating and encouraged us to ask for things we had not considered. In particular, he encouraged us to walk away from a home that, if we bought, may have resulted in unwanted and unnecessary sacrifices. When we were physically in Philadelphia, Al was flexible in showing us properties at various times of the day and during the Week. He was able to introduce us to the community of Philadelphia in terms of lifestyle options. He was quick to respond to us and was fast at communication with the seller. I appreciated his calm demeanor, ability to listen, and good judgment on when to mediate and advise. Overall, Al provided good service and was reliable as a first time home buyer!
