Al is on point for all the ratings here. He was helpful and knowledgeable through the whole process. He even orchestrated some negotiations while he was on vacation just to be sure everything was going our way.We had been house hunting for almost a year before we met Al. He was extremely patient with us and our endless debate of whether to stay in the city or move to the burbs. Al took us to see every house we wanted and even tagged along with us to open houses just to learn what we liked or didn't like about each house we saw. The house we ended up purchasing was actually a recommendation by Al. My wife and I had written the house off, but Al insisted that we give it a look. He was absolutely right. He helped us negotiate and, with his guidance, we won the contract for the house, beating out matching cash offers. Al knows the neighborhoods really well. When we would go to see houses, we would often run into someone he knew. On top of all of this, he always dresses exceptionally sharp. As he says, "You never know who we might run into." We came out of the experience with a new friend and neighbor in Al. When you ask Al to be your realtor, you get welcomed in like family. My wife and I highly recommend him.

We met Al initially as new prospective home buyers and was ambivalent at the time. Al was able to assist us through difficult decisions from encouragement to start the process and through the tenuous process of closing. I must say we had many questions which Al helped us answer or pointed us in the right direction. Given that we conducted a significant portion of the home search out of state, we asked Al to do much of the leg work and trusted him to identify properties that matched out unique tastes. He was honest and was great at negotiating and encouraged us to ask for things we had not considered. In particular, he encouraged us to walk away from a home that, if we bought, may have resulted in unwanted and unnecessary sacrifices. When we were physically in Philadelphia, Al was flexible in showing us properties at various times of the day and during the Week. He was able to introduce us to the community of Philadelphia in terms of lifestyle options. He was quick to respond to us and was fast at communication with the seller. I appreciated his calm demeanor, ability to listen, and good judgment on when to mediate and advise. Overall, Al provided good service and was reliable as a first time home buyer!
