Selling a house that you built, raised your children, and lived in for 30 years, can be a very traumatic experience. We were extremely lucky that we chose to go with Beverly and Ed Kalinka. Their knowledge, experience and distinct personalities combined create a very powerful and yet, personal team that made for a very seamless and pleasurable experience. They started by very diplomatically highlighting the key areas of home improvement necessary to maximize the value of the house. These changes that are not necessarily obvious to most homeowners clearly helped in the pricing and sale of our house. They were relentless during the selling/marketing process scheduling several open houses in rapid succession to maximize the exposure of the house and to personally highlight its strong points to attendees. Thanks to their dedicated efforts our house sold in a very short time (contrary to general market expectations) at the price we desired. Their professionalism and competence continued into the closing process where they handled every step in every detail possible. Thanks to their efforts we were able to close the sale of our house and consummate the purchase of another house in a different state on the exact same date (generally considered an impossibility). Professionalism and work ethic aside, both of them have extremely nice personalities that makes it a pleasure to work with them. We were very fortunate to find such an extraordinary team.

Ed and Bev Kalinka are amazing. We were referred to Ed and Bev and it was great from the beginning. Ed and Bev understood that this was our first time purchasing a house. My wife and I both have hectic work schedules, and Ed and Bev met with us at 8pm on a weekday to introduce us to the home buying experience. They basically taught us an introduction to home buying class the first meeting with them (extremely helpful and would recommend to anyone who is purchasing their first home). The amount of experience both Ed and Bev possess was amazing. When we started looking at homes, they knew everything to ask, and most importantly, everything to look for. Bev basically took my wife and me in as her kids! We felt like we knew each other forever. We weren't easy, either! Bev spent her weekends showing us homes all over the Union County area. When we found our home, Ed and Bev walked us through the Bidding Process, all negotiations, the Home Inspection, the Appraisal Process, the Walkthrough; they even recommended us an attorney that was just as helpful as they were. My wife and I went into this process thinking it would be a headache, and Ed and Bev made it one of the easiest processes of our lives! Ed and Bev were more than just our Real Estate Agents; they have turned into lifelong friends!
