We visited around 10 homes for sale in the area, and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of a home vs. a co-op vs. a condo. Ashira referred me to a local mortgage broker, First Home Mortgage, where I was able to secure a financing letter and competitive rate early on. Her contacts for inspection and title/escrow ensured that settlement went smoothly. Finally, we were able to calculate my cash needed for closing two weeks in advance so I could get a free official check from my online savings account rather than pay the fee at the local bank.

Buying your first house can be extremley stressful. So many questions, alot you don't know. Ashira walked my wife and I through every step of the process from A-Z and did a phenomenal job with us property virgins. We were extremely picky and looked at about 50 houses. I would imagine a real estate agent could get very exhausted doing that, but she took it all in stride. We had weekends where we'd see 10+ houses. Through it all Ashira was on top of finding us good places to look at and providing guidance. Once we found our home, it was obvious she knew the process extremly well. She walked us through the inspection and helped us negoitiate to get a fair deal and most importantly - no closing costs. I miss spending time with Ashira which to me says we found more than a real estate agent, we found a friend. I'd highly recommend Ashira to anyone interested in buying or selling their property. She is a consummate proffessional.
