My wife and I have used Colby Ryder twice now. Once to purchase a home, and again 2 1/2 years later to sell the same home.Colby is an agent that is very personable and easy going; yet, very professional. We were in a situation where we were debating whether to sell our home or if we were going to stay for a while longer. When Colby came over, he had all the comps and information to let us know exactly where we stood on value, sell-ability, cost to sell etc. Colby knew we were just feeling out the possibility of selling and he wasn't pushy or insistent that we NEEDED to list with him. In fact, he just gave us the information and left us to make the decision on our own over the next couple of days. Ultimately, we did list the house, and Colby had it sold, AT FULL PRICE, at the top of the comp values for the area, within a few hours on the first day it went active.We felt that Colby really went above and beyond with all aspects of buying and selling a home. We felt so comfortable with his ability to represent us, that we pre signed some of the closing documents and then, since we were not going to be in town, we authorize him to sign the final documents, on our behalf, on the actual closing date . Everything went as planned and without any surprises at closing.Colby is an excellent communicator and doesn't delay when needing to contact you or the other parties involved in the transaction. He takes the initiative to make sure everything is in order, without being pushy or making you feel uncomfortable.If you want a realtor that will represent you just like you're family, Colby Ryder is the only option I would recommend.
