We had an exceptional experience with Shannon and her team. From the initial consult with Shannon, it was obvious that she really knows her stuff when it comes to real estate, and Long Beach real estate in particular. She's very kind but not afraid to challenge your thinking if she realizes you might not be thinking something all the way through. Her advice was invaluable throughout our home buying process, even though this was our second purchase. Shannon and her team never missed a beat throughout the entire process, and we were able to close relatively quickly - it's kind of surreal to think the process is already over! We ended up choosing a house that wasn't originally our first choice (or anybody's first choice, apparently), and we ended up saving quite a bit of money on the purchase as a result. This was the first time in 32 years for us to sell a home and we were nervous. Shannon and her team are very professional, friendly and good communicators which put us at ease.At our first meeting she asked us what our goals were and took the time to get to know us, focusing on our desires. However, she was not shy in telling us what she thought even though it differed from what we were saying. We appreciated that because we were not looking for a, "yes," person to represent us. We were paying her to provide her expert opinion and knowledge. She respected that we would make the final decisions. Shannon's goal was to get us the best price possible yet price our home with a realistic market value. She prepared a detailed comparative market analysis for us to review, listing comparable homes with pictures, descriptions and sale price. She used all the latest technology tools to market our home. She developed an advertising program that included open houses, featuring the home on multiple online search engines, and producing an unbelievably professional virtual tour and video of the home. She hired a professional photographer to take stunning pictures of both the interior and exterior features of our home and property. She prepared detailed customer (color pictures) flyers with a detailed description of the home inside and out, stressing all the great selling points and benefits of ownership of this property. She distributed them throughout the community and to other agents.During the offer process, Shannon and her team provided weekly and sometimes daily updates regarding offers and feedback on changing market activities. They kept track of the multiple offers and provided their opinions on all terms and conditions of such offers. She did a great job of negotiating with the buyer's agents. The team analyzed the inspection report and made recommendations on countering repair requests. They provided recommendations on contractors they felt could preform the work and were honest and reasonable. As it turned out, Shannon sold our home during the first open house weekend at over asking price.We found Shannon and her team to be completely honest and trustworthy. We highly recommend her to any seller or buyer of a home.
