"In the Spring, we decided to move to Oregon to be near family. We initially saw a house online that we really wanted to purchase, but since we lived out of state, I sent a picture of the house with the For Sale sign showing Marie Conser's name to our local Realtor, who contacted Marie about the house and also vetted her. Our local Realtor indicated that Marie was very knowledgeable and suggested we speak with her to help us in Oregon. Our Realtor called Marie to reach out to us. Marie immediately called us, set up a zoom meeting for later that day where she answered all of our questions and the rest, as they say, is history! Unfortunately, the house she was marketing that initial day, was already under contract, and so started our search together for our Oregon home!Marie is very knowledgeable, goes above and beyond in every area. Marie was always willing to assist us, answer any questions (big or small) and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the entire process. Marie made herself available when I was in Oregon for limited periods of time, met with me to show me several houses during those short periods, pointed out things about windows and soil (only Oregon people are familiar with), and then continued meeting with my daughter who facetimed us through many homes (one of which is the home we now own). Throughout this process of house hunting, Marie has pretty much met most of my family, who all think highly of her as well.Since we were in the process of selling our home to move to Oregon when we met Marie, we requested a contingency purchase. Over this time period of looking (shortly after the height of the market), we have put offers on four different homes, but the contingency restriction caused us to come in second and it was very discouraging. Marie continued to encourage us, and we continued looking. Her knowledge and expertise in preparing the offers helped us to where we did come in first. But, we actually bought a home that we had been second on (that fell out of escrow). When we say, it has been an adventure, we do mean just that, and Marie has handled it all amazingly! Marie arranged the inspections, and has helped in so many countless ways, well above and beyond what many Realtors would do for their clients, and so very much appreciated by us!The transition of selling and moving to a new state, coordinating two escrows within days of each other, went very smoothly with the help of our awesome Realtors! We thank you very much, Marie, for all you have done for us! We have and will continue to recommend you to anyone looking for a home! We wish you the very best. We moved overseas and had to sell our house in Portland.Marie was our realtor and helped us throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a realtor in the Portland areas and/or in Oregon, don't look any further, she is the best!Marie is an exceptional professional. She is very knowledgable, truthworthy, extremely efficient, organized, and proactive, and has outstanding communication skills. She keeps your informed of all the steps, and is always available for your questions and concerns along the process. Her marketing services are impecable and very efficient.She goes above and beyong in every areas of the process, and you can feel that she is genuilnely kind and compassionate. We had to close on the house after we departed Oregon, and we had to finish the sale process with a 9-hour time difference. Marie was available for us anyway and mindful of the time difference to make things happen. She also spontaneously offered to take care of a few items that were outside of the scope of her work after we were gone to make our life easier. Last but not least, she is multilingal and culturally sensitive, which was an important point for our family.She is simply a gem, and working with her has been a real pleasure and privilege. I wish we could work with her to find our new home in Europe!
