My wife and I were first time home buyers and had know idea as to what we were doing and a friend recommended Susan to us. Susan sat down with us and took the time to explain, in terms we could understand, what we as buyers needed to know, watch for and do to find that perfect home for us that we would be happy with when it was all said and done. She guided us to a very knowledgeable mortgage company who got us pre-approved within days with a great interest rate and educated us on the mortgage process. Then we began house hunting. We looked at 5 homes the first day and that was all she needed to get a good idea of what we were looking for so as to filter out the ones that did not meet our needs or tastes. We then looked at about a dozen others before making our first offer on one. In the process of searching Susan was very good at seeing things we should be concerned about that we would most likely have overlooked, but she also has a special talent of visualization that allows you to see the potential of making a home from an empty house. We did pull the offer on the first one after the sellers refused to negotiate but that same night she found THE ONE that met all our needs and wants and we made an offer on it. Susan was on top of everything from negotiations to inspections, quotes for repairs from reputable companies and re-negotiating those costs with the sellers. She saw to it that our lender recieved everything they needed to move forward, that we had what we needed for getting it insured, etc, and that we always knew the next thing we needed to take care of and when, all the way through even the closing. Susan made the buying experience for us go very smoothly and I would recommend her to everyone. We have been in our home for 6 months and do not regret our purchase decision.
