My fiancA(C)e and I began casually searching for a home on Zillow earlier this year. I initially reached out to one real estate agent who had gotten some rather favorable reviews to try to schedule some walk throughs on some properties we were interested in, however, their follow up was horrible. Fortunately, I found Jessica Anthony. Jessica is everything we could've asked for in an agent and more. She was attentive and thorough. She responded quickly to phone calls, e-mails, and texts. She was not high pressure and let us search at our own pace but also made herself available whenever our schedule dictated. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area (McHenry/Crystal Lake) that we were interested in. My fiancA(C)e and I had already developed a pretty good idea of what we wanted, Jessica just made the process even easier and more enjoyable. Her recommendations and insight were welcome and helpful. Everything from who to finance through to which real estate attorney to use, Jessica's recommendations worked out wonderfully. We really had no idea otherwise. My husband and I give Jessica a 5 star rating:). If it weren't for my random phone call to Jessica, we wouldn't have our beautiful home. Let me tell you why: I had called Jessica about a home in which I was interested; Jessica informed me the home of interest had mold issues, and she asked if I was interested in any other homes; at that time, the home in which I was interested was off the market. She asked if she could reach out to the seller's realtor even though the home was off the market. I agreed. The rest is history:). The sellers agreed to do a showing while the home was off the market, and after a series of negotiations, we received a fair price and were able to purchase our beautiful home. Jessica additionally helped us sell our home and close on both homes the same week. Jessica's diligence, professionalism and wisdom makes her worthy of the 5 star rating. Jessica worked very hard to sell our house. It is actually a 1920's vacation cottage located on waterfront property. We first listed it Summer of 2017. She hosted several open houses to jump-start things only to have a "100 year flood" hit. While the cottage itself survived unscathed, the water destroyed the lawn - prompting us to take the property off the market until Spring 2018. Jessica started the process from scratch this Spring, again jump starting with open houses. After feedback from potential buyers that our price was high, Jessica steered us to a more effective/realistic price. As a direct result of an open house we ended up with three offers and received nearly 100% of the adjusted asking price. We appreciated Jessica's hard work, perseverance and positive attitude. She definitely earned her commission! We strongly recommend Jessica.
