My husband and I had to move across the country and had very little time to find a house in Albany. We knew nothing about the area, so we were relying on someone to show us everything. Our anxiety about moving was amplified by having only three days to find a home. Luckily, Frank spent the entire weekend with us, not only showing us houses in our price-range but also explaining Albany traffic patterns and the nuances of the little micro-cultures around town. When looking at houses, he noticed things that we wouldnt have noticedaEUR"corroded pipes, water stains on the ceiling, the tidiness of a neighbors lawn. He was patient with us as we looked at nearly twenty houses in three days, and importantly, he never made us feel like mere clients. He never tried to push a house on us; instead, he listened to our comments and moved us on to another. He was never rushed. Frank sensed out openness to a more personable approach, so he occasionally made humorous comments about the houses, calling one aEURoeOld Squeaky,aEUR? for example. When touring the gothic-arched up-stairs of the house that we eventually bought, he claimed it reminded him of the house in the film aEURoeBeetlejuice.aEUR? Throughout the weekend, we called it the aEURoeBeetlejuice-house.aEUR? Now that weve settled in to it, we still refer to it as the aEURoeBeetlejuice-house.aEUR? Frank guided us through the entire process, from the awkward wandering through dens and laundry rooms to the contract and closing processes. He was always available to answer our questions, to help us find painters, an attorney, and other contractors. He made our move to Albany less anxiety-ridden. We have him to thank for our aEURoeBeetlejuice-house" and wholeheartedly recommend him for any real estate needs.
