We hired a realtor to sell our home in Ames. It sat on the market for three months during peak selling season. We knew something was wrong. We interviewed several new agents, one being Misty Metschke. Misty arrived at our home in October prepared with a full marketing plan and local area statistics. She provided us with information none of the other agents even thought to inform us about. Due to our numerous questions, our meeting ran over approximately one hour. She wasn't rushed and indicated she was there for us and her goal was to sell our home. We utilized her suggestions as well as her thoughts on staging. She had a professional photographer come in and WoW - the photos! People asked if the photos were real! :) We put the home on the market and after two weeks we reduced our asking price just slightly as we had planned. (We were now at the price Misty suggested in the first place!) The home was on the market for just under two more weeks and we got a cash offer! In just over a week we were moved out of our home and on to our new home out-of-state. Everyone says, you need to hire a top rated realtor. It is TRUE! And that realtor is Misty Metschke, hands down! She had an answer to all of our questions and was there to calm our nerves when it didn't sell on day one!
