As a first-time home buyer, my excitement over the prospect of owning a home was matched by an equal amount of fear and intimidation by the process. I am so fortunate that I was recommended to Brent as my agent. His kindness, skill, and consummate professionalism were clearly evident from the first day we met. People often talk about that ?ideal? professional, be it salesperson to physician, who treats you as if you were their only client. I always figured that was the stuff of lore, as I had never had the pleasure of working with a professional with that level of commitment. I am not exaggerating when I say that I truly felt like Brent treated me as if I was his top priority at every twist and turn of my home buying adventure. To my innumerable questions and concerns that I had throughout the process, he was always there to explain and clarify things in a patient and thoughtful manner. His commitment to actively engaging me at every step made me feel like a valued partner, rather than simply a client. From phone conversations to the numerous meetings we had at the home for inspections, etc., he never once made me feel like he was being inconvenienced or was rushed to get to another appointment. Brent has been a wonderful blessing for selling our condo and now for purchasing our next home. He was referred to us by a dear friend whom Brent had sold her condo just months before. Before we even realized we were going to be selling our condo to purchase a larger space, she told us about Brent. Then once we found out we were expecting our first child she had mentioned him at least two more times and insisted we use him. We had a sub par experience when we bought our condo through another agent, so we were really looking for someone who had not only our best interest in mind but cared about their work. Brent is just that, he is compassionate and caring and you can really tell he values his clients. Selling our condo proved easier than finding a new home. But, Brent has been patient and willing to fight for us to get us in to our next home. Its been a little hard in todays market with so little inventory. I also must mention that we are in San Diego proper and he is out of Carlsbad. He makes the trip down here once or twice a week from when we started looking five weeks ago and is happy to see us every time. Even saying hi baby to my tummy after greeting us! He has made this experience comfortable and never leaves us in the dark or wondering. He is also very patient and thorough with what seems to be my never ending barrage of questions! Always on point with communicating with whatever our needs may be. Its great to have someone represent you that feels like a long lost friend and genuinely cares about your best interest and isnt in the business of making quick cash. Plus, knowing that once we get an offer accepted and are in escrow, we know he is going to be just as excited as we are. I would recommend Brent to anyone needing someone to sell their home or to purchase a home. I plan on doing so the second I hear anyone looking to buy or sell and will let them know he is a stellar professional. Go with Brent, you wont regret it!!

We moved from Corona to Carlsbad with a very short, yet critical timeframe to find a home. Kids school, work timing, high standards for a new home and the fact that we had a contract with renters moving into the current home we were living in made for a complex house hunt.So I called Brent at Humpherys Homes because I knew that Brent would deliver like he had when we purchased another property in Downtown San Diego a few years earlier.Within 24 hours of looking with Brent, we had found an incredible home only to find out that our offer was the 3rd offer. Brent skillfully and strategically guided us through this process that had the seller accept our offer over the other two. It was pure genius.I love Brents energy, dedication and most of all his integrity. Both my wife and I knew through the entire process we were dealing with a pro.I usually dont do endorsements like this but this is a no-brainer for me.
