In Summer 2017, Debbie helped us buy our house in Virginia Beach, while we were all the way in California (we are a military family). She was extremely thorough with her video tours, attention to detail (noting things like traffic sounds that would be louder in winter when trees had fewer leaves, squishy ground after rains, etc), and gave personal recommendations as if we were her children and not just "customers." I appreciated her thoughtfulness and felt she was a safe and trustworthy person, in addition to being a professional and organized Real Estate Professional.We were first-time home buyers and she walked us through every step, making the process much less overwhelming and "scary."When it was time for us to sell, in Summer 2020, I got in touch with Debbie right away. Her organization and streamlined methods made the entire process easy for us. What could have been extremely stressful, selling our house with 3 small children during a Pandemic, was quick and simple. My husband is in the military so we got our home through a VA loan. We were working with an agent through Navy Federal, we had no idea where to start. The agent we got put with did not give us any information we needed for buying a house. She took us to houses that did not meet our criteria, and was way out of our price range. So, I decided to start randomly looking online for houses. We saw one that interested us and put in our contact info to go view the place. Not even five minutes later, we get a call from Howard Hannah. Debbie Woolard got assigned to us randomly and asked us what/where/how much/needs/wants and just about everything she needed to know to help us in any way possible. We didn't like the first house so she took us to her company building to learn about buying a house in an informative video. She then proceeded with a stack of paperwork that told us all about what we needed to know. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable. So, we decided to look over houses in the online portal that she walked us through. She made it so easy for us to find EXACTLY what we wanted. We went home that night and went through about 200 houses and choose which ones we wanted to view. That night she was able to schedule a viewing for the next day. We saw a couple houses with her. One time she was helping other people so her husband whom she works with took her place for the day. It was nice that she had a backup in case she needed to be helping other customers. It only took THREE days to find our home! I was blown away that she could work her magic that fast. She treated us like family and made it easy to work with her. She answered whenever we had a question (which was a lot). The inspector she had for us was very thorough with the inspection. He got back to us right away. She spoke with the previous owners of the house and inspector to keep things going smoothly and did any paperwork that needed to be done. We even got our house 5,000 under the asking price and had some requests that got filled thanks to Debbie. The day of closing went smoothly and quickly. Originally, my husband was going to be there for closing but last minute had to leave with his ship. Debbie informed me that I needed power of attorney and how to get it. She made sure I had all the paperwork I needed for day of close. Overall, we we're pleased to work with her. If you want someone who can get the job done to the best of your needs, she's your gal!! She's a true professional and a genuinely nice person. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off. We have our dream home, and she made that possible for us. Working with Debbie was nothing short of extraordinary. Her knowledge of the area was out of this world. I was buying a home in virginia while living in california. I was reffered to her by 2 friends who purchased homes through her so i gave her a call way before my window to buy a home started. She immediatly set me up with an account on her site so i can start viewing homes online and getting together wants and not wants aswell as pricing and if homes where in flood zones and all that fun stuff. My wife and i kept deleting home and adding the ones we liked to favorites up until the day my wife left to go view homes for the weekend Debbie was able to set up viewings so that my wife and her just kept going house to house to find the ones we liked. Debbie was constantly positive and never upset that we didnt find the house in the first few. She was so knowlegable with the purchase of a home she knew things to look for that could eventually be a problem as well as things that could eventually hurt resell value. While my wife was there a home popped up on her site that her and my wife were able to view within the hour and we ended up getting it. She was with me everystep on deciding what we wanted to put in on the offer. Once we got accepted she helped me find trusted workers to get a few things that i wanted to get done at a very fair price. I dont know when im going to sell my house or buy a new one but i can say without a doubt debbie will be my first phone call. I highly recommend her.
