My husband and I first met Lillian at a local homebuying workshop we attended two years before we officially began looking for a house. That workshop, led by Lillian, was incredibly comprehensive and clear, and we found ourselves repeatedly referring back to the notes we'd taken there as we began to think more seriously about buying a home. When we decided to go for it and to look in the Pittsburgh area, Lillian was our first choice to work with. From our initial discussion to closing, Lillian was wonderful. She took the time to find out what we were looking for and where, and had a number of helpful suggestions along the way (e.g., the county's property tax calculator was an invaluable tool). As first-time homebuyers, we both had many questions, and Lillian was patient and always had an answer for us. She was easy to talk to and easy to reach, and she was more than willing to share her knowledge and connections (such as for a home inspector) with us. Lillian is simply the best. We genuinely don't know what we would have done without her. My husband I worked with Lillian for nearly 4 months to find a home in Pittsburgh, while we were still located in Portland, OR. We are first time home buyers and we had a fairly modest budget (~$240K). She listened to every request that we had--including our rather long litany of wants and needs--and consistently delivered sound possibilities for us.Additionally, Lillian knows everyone is Pittsburgh. She's familiar with other agents, gave excellent recommendations for lenders and lending services, and has a huge network of contractors/plumbers/etc. to draw from.
