My wife and I purchased a condo in Kirkland, WA with Emilys help. I found her contact through a her blog about house hacking in Seattle as I wanted a home thats a semi-investment, but also good enough for us to live in it for few years (not something permanent). From the start to the finish of the process, Emily has guided us and above all, she instilled confidence in us so that we can go ahead a buy the home WITHOUT looking at it first hand (we were out of town, so she filmed the neighborhood and the homes we wanted to learn more about). Our original goal was to buy a SFH, but we altered our strategy to Condo due to Covid and Emily has shown a great patience and persistence all throughout the process of pivots. I know I can count on Emily to deliver when we need her to. She will come through and do what it takes to make the magic happen. She is very patient, non-biased (she never pushed us to do anything except to provide fact / information, so we can make our best informed decision), and informative, and honest. I highly recommend Emily to help with your buy/sell of your house.

During the Covid- 19 stay at home order, My husband and I began working toward turning our dream of home ownership into reality. It was time to use his VA benefits and stop renting. When restrictions began lifting and we went back to work, our dream once again took a back seat to daily life. We were nervous about how we stood with the fast paced market. Where do we start? and is our search area too small? Then one day a knock came to our door. It was Emily - advertising a open house in our neighborhood. We explained our worries and our needs from the new home: A yard, a garage and room for our kids future dog. Also wanted to stay in the boundaries of the kids schools. Emily totally understood our situation and was there for us to make it happen! She got us into look at homes quickly, and even called through the neighborhood to see if people were planning to sell in the near future. It was a challenging market with multiple offers on the homes we liked, but Emily did not push us to pay more than what we were comfortable with. I could tell she wanted us to be happy with our pick, long-term, and not get swept into the frenzy of the market. Finally we spotted the perfect house - as we were looking at another nearby home - just at the moment it came on the market. Emily got us inside as soon as the seller would let us. I couldnt be there, so Emily had my husband video the interior for me to see later. We liked it, we decided to make an offer right away to try to beat out competitors. The strategy worked and Emily was on the phone at the other agent late into the night hammering out the details and paperwork. In order to get the house, we offered the seller a lease-back so she could have one last Christmas in the home before moving. Emily stayed involved in facilitating that and making sure everything went smoothly, even after the closing. The final fun part to this story was that this was all happening just before Christmas. My daughter had written in her letter to Santa that she wished our family had our own home. My husband and I were able to surprise the kids on Christmas morning with a key to the new house - they were so shocked, I dont think it seemed real at first! Emily came to wish us well on our move-in day and gave us a framed picture of our new house and our daughters Christmas list as a keepsake. Since then, Ive had a chance to refer her to a friend who wants to buy her own condo and I think Emily will do a great job for her. Emily was thoughtful, professional, and effective throughout our transaction.
