It has been a pleasure working with Rosann throughout the process of selling our home.I first began to speak with Rosann about selling our home about two years ago, when I wanted to get her view on the housing market in general and on our neighborhood in particular. Rosann had a lot of knowledge and insight on both.We were in the early stages of planning to build a new home, and I wanted to start gathering some information on what to expect and how to prepare ourselves and our home for the eventually listing. I was also particularly interested in understanding why so many of the homes in our neighborhood that had gone up for sale had languished unsold for many months and some of them for years. Rosann was very experienced in our neighborhood and very familiar with each of the homes. We discussed each one of them and she was able to explain that each unsold home had one or more issues that buyers did not care for. Those issues included, but weren't limited to, odd floor plans, location in neighborhood (ex: alongside busy street - noise), sub-par construction, deferred maintenance and wanting to sell the home for more than the market would bear. (I also learned that it doesn't matter what you think your house is worth, it's what someone else is willing to pay for it.)Over the course of those two years, I called and spoke with Rosann many times and she very graciously and patiently answered my many questions and gave me updates on the local market. Much of the time she spent speaking with me was before we had even signed a contract to have her be our agent.Rosann was also very helpful by helping us determine what improvements made good sense to make on our home before we put it on the market.We also went with Rosann's recommended designer/stager Rexann who helped us choose the best paint and carpeting colors, etc. that would appeal to today's buyers. We had Rexann stage our home for us to give it a nice lived-in look since we already had moved out and the house was empty. She did a great job.Rosann had her photographer come in and worked with him to do a super job of photographing our home for the listing. She also made up some beautiful large color brochures that accompanied the sign at the street.Going with Rosann really paid off. We had a reasonable offer the first day our home was listed! The offer led to the sale of our home, which was completed and closed in less than a month after it went on the market.I can't say enough good about Rosann who was so professional and helpful throughout the process. I can and do highly recommend Rosann without reservation to be your realtor.
