Jan was very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. Jan was also very prompt with the house buying process even when her personal life got in the way. She did however, leave us hanging for two days not knowing if the failed foundation test was fixable as she neglected to pass on pertinent information to the sellers. Just as we were about to move forward and search for another home (as we are military with time constraints) she told us it was perfectly normal to be nervous as first time buyers. Despite the obvious cause of our distress being Jan neglecting to ask the sellers to fix the foundation in a timely fashion. Tragically we purchased our home across the country from California so weve not really seen our home yet. Unfortunately even after requesting videos and photos of our home in a slower more methodical video came across as a big ask. In the first video (which had all the previous tenants items as well as animal fecal matter.) she explained she couldnt find the light switch to the master closet. So I studied the first video until I found it. When I pointed it out to her a few hours prior to her next video, she didnt even try to find it despite the light switch being on the other side of the door she was facing. Id asked for a better visual on the laundry, kitchen, and outlets as well and I only got the kitchen pantry and a quick wrist flick on her camera phone to the shelves in the laundry room. Although Jan lacks in listening to her clients home visual requests she is great at the rest of her job. All the paperwork was in order rather quickly and we were able to close on the 21st!
