I am not one to write online reviews but, in this case, I fell compelled to make an exception. After Hurricane Florence here on the NC Coast, my former (rental) home had to be gutted and the prospects of finding a new home (or even storage for my belongings, because of the unique circumstances of the hurricane devastation) were dismal according to other agents. Nevertheless (this is a true story !), one call to Margaret Hitchcock allowed me (through her efforts) to purchase a new home within a matter of hours of its listing and her follow up services were amazing (she handled everything incredibly efficiently and with minimal cost for me). Within 30 days I was relocated in my new home (delighted with it) and ... well, what else can I say ... truly amazing. I really can't say any more than that. Highly recommended is putting it lightly !

Margaret is AMAZING, with a big heart and a bigger smile! She truly cares about her clients and her customers. She took our inquiry to search for a vacation home seriously; others did not. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and arranged to show us several homes that were appropriate, including one that we had discovered while searching on our own. It was during that first meeting with Margaret when we found our dream home and put in an offer which was later accepted. As out-of-town buyers, it was difficult for us to get to the property for some of the inspections. Margaret was gracious enough to take time from her busy day to be there when we couldnt. Even after we moved in, if we needed referrals for local contractors or advise about the area, Margaret was always ready and willing to help. I would definitely use Margaret Hitchcock again.
