Rowena and Noel are Awesome!Rowena was recommended to us by a friend of ours when we were relocating to Alaska so we called her and asked her to help us buy our Alaska home. She was very responsive and professional right from the start as we communicated remotely with her and Noel. Once we scheduled our house-hunting visit and discussed what we were looking for, Rowena and Noel kept us well-informed on properties that were for sale and gave us a lot to look at and think about on line. When we got to AK, they met with us and we immediately got to work looking at some of the properties we had indicated were interesting to us. It was amazing to us how fast they were able to dial in our preferences from our comments while looking at the first few properties, and by just the second time we went out looking, they were showing us ONLY properties that we really liked. They also were excellent at always keeping in mind the parameters we gave them (price, location, configurations, etc.) and sometimes even had to remind us of our own objectives so we didn't get off track. The best part was that while they were very professional, we immediately felt like they were helping us look for OUR house and not just a "property". Once we found the house we wanted after only three days, we got great advice on what to offer, and they then represented our interests well throughout the entire buying process (offer, contract, inspections, appraisal and closing). They were excellent and professional at doing their "job", but at the same time I believe that they were genuinely interested in making sure that we were taken care of. They truly made us feel like family or friends, even though we had just met and were working together on a professional basis. First of all, we would like to thank Ate Rowena from the bottom of hearts for everything shes done to make the process of buying our first home very easy, quick and smooth. This means a lot for first time home buyers (pretty sure a lot can relate). We were a bit intimidated because we didnt know where to start but we were confident because she guided us through the whole process (from start to finish). She answered all our questions and concerns in a timely manner (even if she was on vacation ??) and she made sure that we understand each and every docs that we are signing. She is also very flexible when it comes to showing properties. Shes very knowledgeable. We definitely recommend her if youre looking for a realtor. As I sit in the living room of our new home, it is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Rowena and her assistant, Erika. Our family is so pleased with our new home in Eagle River, Alaska. My husband and I grew up in this little town but moved away after high school. We are excited to return here again with our children to begin a new adventure in this beautiful house.We were actually living outside of the U.S. in Estonia when we found out we were moving back "home".
