I don't normally write reviews but when it's deserved... We moved here from the DC area and looked over a year on our own (no agent) hoping to find what we thought was going to be twice the house for half the price. Wrong! We hit the market right as things were going crazy again and watched in dismay as prices charged forward without us on the bus... We ran across Steve several times as a seller's agent as he graciously showed us a few of his listings that caught our interest. There was no big conversation prior about how "it worked" since we didn't have an agent instead he worked hard as a sales agent for his client and viewed us as a solid opportunity to sell his client's house to. That was NOT the case in most other instances with other selling agents. They were more concerned about themselves and the buy-side commission. As time went on we continued to struggle on our own with low inventory and high prices and finally decided we ought to consider working with an agent. My wife and I independently and strongly both felt that Steve was head and shoulders above any other agents we had come across and believe me we met MANY!! This is not so much a knock on all the other agents we met...there were several others who were also professionals but Steve just offered more. He knows the market, knows the process...you ask a question esoteric or not and he knows the answer. He also has the intangible quality of putting you at ease giving you confidence that the right house will show up. He offered immense patience which is amazing since he gets paid when a deal is done not for endless searching. He is a professional first but also has the ability to make you feel like he's a good friend. He's top notch...grab him if you can and knowing Steve he'll be sure to make time and he'll get the job done.

I recommend Steve very highly. We reached out to a few realtors last year to get their thoughts on a home that we wanted to build and what its resale value might be like in the future. Of several realtors that we reached out to, Steve was the only one who spent time with us and talked to us about our plans even though we weren't buying or selling anything at the time. A few weeks ago, we ended up deciding to sell our lot instead of building it. We decided to work with Steve and are very happy with that decision.Steve is very responsive over text and phone, knows the market well, and is an *amazing* negotiator. He helped sell our place for almost 10% over asking in a matter of days, and was able to negotiate with the buyer to get all of their contingencies removed before we signed. It was a masterfully done negotiation. If I ever sell another house in the area, I'm definitely working with Steve again.
