I met Deb through her on line real estate listings. After a few e-mails detailing what I was looking for, she created a list of potential properties to explore. So I traveled to Gulf Shores to have a look. Deb was extremely knowledgeable about the area. She was relaxed and took the time to listen to what my needs were. She asked key questions that helped focus our search. We probably looked at 8 or 10 properties and kept returning to one. At this point Deb went the extra mile to see if the location would indeed return the revenue we were expecting. (vacation rental) When we decided to present an offer, Deb once again, used her local knowledge and expertise to suggest a solid offer. She handled all of the paperwork and back and forth negotiations with skill and ease. This took a lot of stress off us. We ended up getting the property we wanted at 10k under our target price. At this point most realtors would be done with the transaction. But Deb not only helped us set up the property for vacation rental , she also became my go to counselor on what steps I needed to take to be successful. She has been there every step of the way. This is above and beyond what most realtors would do. As a result of her help, we are well on our way to having a successful vacation rental property. I recommend Deb Wood as a great choice in realtors.

We were staying at the Palms in Orange Beach and we're having a problem with the tv at the condo unit. Harris property management co. sent out their maintenance man to fix it. As we were visiting about being interested at looking into buying a condo and it so happened his wife was a realtor for Harris. We gave Deb Wood a call and she was gracious enough to take us under her wing. She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great advice on purchasing a condo. We fell in love with the very first one we looked at Plantation Palms, made our offer and it was accepted. This was in January 2015 and closed in March. Deb has helped us make a tough decision in becoming a vacation property owner a reality. We truly have had a great experience working with Deb and the Harris Property Group. Our first year has been excellent and we are looking forward to 2016.
