We have worked with many realtors in the past, both for purchasing homes and finding rental properties. We have had highly variably past experiences in the home purchasing, but overall our prior experiences have been lukewarm at best.Nathan is high and away the very best realtor we have ever worked with. He took a very personal interest in what would be the 'right home' for us, and also the 'right price'. We were fairly restricted in location, and timing of appointments and he was flexible working with us. We looked at an eclectic mix of properties, and Nathan always participated in the showings with us with a mindful but also critical eye. He is highly knowledgeable on the areas of Washtenaw and Livingston counties. He knows what to look for re: home maintenance, subtle issues with older homes that can arise over time, and can tell the quality of updates that have been done to homes.Most importantly, he always had our best interests at heart. He helped dissuade us from over-offering on a home that would have stretched our budget, preaching patience, and sure enough within a week or so the 'perfect home' right in our price point came on the market. He was available, affable, and always personally attended his appointments. He navigated the negotiation process well, despite communication difficulties from the seller's realtor.He has my highest recommendation, without reservation.
