To whom it may concern, I first met Jamie in 2013 when my wife and I were looking to buy a new condo in Dorchester. When I contacted him about the new listing, he politely told me it was already under agreement which was disappointing but he told us to still come in for a showing anyways as you never know what happens sometimes. He was very accommodating and agreed to meet us the very evening I called him and even came out during a snow storm! He also agreed to meet us a couple days later for a second showing in better conditions so we could see the place in the daytime & Sunlight. Sure enough the other parties finances fell through and he started negotiations on our behalf with the seller. He made a usually nerve-racking ordeal a very comfortable experience and he was able to get us a great price on a property we absolutely love. He was even able to help find us fantastic tenants for our other condo unit that we were not ready to sell at the time just a couple weeks after we signed the P & S agreement. It was perfect timing! I would completely recommend Jamie Iacoi to handle your real estate needs. He is trustworthy, respectful, diligent and extremely knowledgeable in the Dorchester and Greater Boston marketplace. I had a few different agents prior to Eric, but when I met him, I knew I'd found just the person to help me with my home search. Eric is very knowledgeable about Boston, has great attention to detail, is responsible and responsive. Most importantly, this man CARES! Buying a home for the first time is very nerve-wracking, especially in such a competitive market. Jamie was my broker on an extremely complicated sale in Dorchester that lasted almost 14 months. We spent several weeks looking at different properties and finally agreed to put in an offer on one we loved. I was a first time buyer so the process and terminology were all new to me. Jamie researched excellent comps, found me a good home inspector and guided me through the process patiently - reassuring me when necessary. Ultimately the house ended up on the market as a short sale which radically increased the complexity of the sale. Admittedly I started to wonder if we would ever close but Jamie stuck with me the whole time. When all was said and done we got the house that we wanted and saved over $90,000. I would recommend Jamie to anyone. He is savvy enough to work with experienced buyers and patient enough for a first time buyer. You often hear the brokers are only interested in their commission and will just push properties or prices on you that are easy to move. Jamie is the exact opposite. The only thing he ever seemed to care about was that we were happy, understood what was going on and found the home we wanted. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
