First, Steve helped my wife and I find our dream home in Carlsbad. Then, shortly after moving in we were relocated and immediately called him to help us. Many times in my past agents have been reluctant to help find a renter since they don't get a big commission and finding a renter is sometimes even more difficult than selling a home. He was as great as he was when we were looking to buy our home. He immediately began finding and screening numerous renters until he found us the perfect tenants. They have been renting our home for the last 3 years and all has gone perfectly.(he has even driven by at random times and emailed us updates on our property) I have bought and sold many homes over the past 30 years and Steve is by far the best I have ever met! Nice to have finally found someone in real estate that actually puts the clients needs and best interests in front of their own. We would, and do recommend Steve to all of our friends and family!

I actually enjoyed the process of finding a home and purchasing it because of Steve and his Team! They were all super professional and very very responsive!! Which is so important these days when it seems as though others want the house you want, its not only a first come first serve but your having to try and out bid the others when you dont know what that bid is! Steve always responded no matter what time of day or night! When I wanted to see a house-well you get the point. I know it sounds like I had a lot of money to buy a big-expensive home-nope-I got a great deal on the smallest house in the world but its what I wanted and without Steve and his team, I probably would not have gotten it! So it does not matter how much or how little you are spending-Steve and Team are right there to help you all the way! Steve excelled in helping me offering the right amount-not over bidding or under! The only reason I gave him 4 stars under 1 of the categories is cause I have never voted anyone 5 Stars across the board but Steven Golden was the closest to come if not actually there! Thank You Steve! Thank you Elizabeth at Fairway and The Cota Team and all the others who helped me! Ps-We closed in little under 3 weeks! How perfect is that!

Go with Steven! He is the best :) I went into the house hunting process with little to no knowledge or guidance. Steven helped me find a suitable lender help me from day one (shout out to Lara Magallon for getting me the loan to buy my house and Jason Cota at Fairway Mortgage for my refinance).Steven such a wealth of knowledge. He knows San Diego county like the back of his hand and seems to have very good relationships with other real estate agents/brokers. I like that his approach is friendly but firm. Thanks to Steven I have learned so much through this process! Now I am not your "normal" client as I am self-employed and cannot qualify for a traditional mortgage. I also was specifically looking for a investment property that would do well in the vacation rental market. Steven took the time to help me evaluate different neighborhoods and urged me to focus on income projections for each potential income property.I will continue to rely on Steven Golden for all my real estate needs and highly recommend him!
