Chris McGinty was outstanding from the first time our paths crossed until the final "i" dotted, "t" crossed and keys in hand. We met at an open house where I was just beginning the process of looking for a second home in the White Mountains. I was very impressed with her enthusiasm and professional demeanor. I could tell from the very start that I wanted to work with her when it came time to buying a house. Chris delivered every step of the way. She was prompt when meeting to show homes and returned all calls quickly. After several home tours we finally made an offer on a home listed by another agent. Chris masterfully handled the negotiations to where both parties felt as if the transaction was "win, win." Where Chris earned her "five star" rating was during the escrow process where we ran into a few glitches, on my part, with documentation. She coached me through every step of the way and kept the seller informed. Chris also referred me to a wonderful mortgage representative who made everything happen. One of the most convenient services that Chris provided was the document-signing program available through email. Much of the home buying transaction was done from a distance so this was a very valuable and convenient way to get the paperwork done. I highly recommend Chris McGinty for real estate services in the White Mountain area. I know that many of her clients were from out of town looking for second homes. She made the home buying experience a lot of fun and was very accommodating.

Chris is the first agent I have worked with in quite a while. In the past I have handled negotiation and search myself and used a real estate attorney to represent me for closing because I found many agents to be unresponsive and lacking motivation to follow through the process. I could tell from the beginning that Chris was going to be different from agents I have dealt with in the past. She is the most responsive person I have dealt with in a long time in any business. I received a call or email back immediately and we exchanged a lot of them. I am a fair value buyer and somewhat specific in what I look for, and she stuck with me until we found properties that fit. She almost always had information about each property that she knew about from past showings and seldom was the property unknown to her. We dealt with much of the process long distance, so that presented its own challenges, which she handled very well. We also had to deal with the many challenges of negotiating and closing a Fannie Mae owned property, who changed rules and forms throughout the process. I would recommend Chris to anyone who is serious about buying or selling and expects more than just an average avocate for your real estate needs.
