I rarely assign a 0 or a 10 (in Zillows case, a 5) in a rating system because that is almost never the correct rating. But, in the case of my experience with Dave as a real estate agent 6 stars applies to all the aspects (i.e., there was nothing I missed out on or lacked in the process with Dave aEUR" I could have asked if he would have done the work for free, but that is not realistic or proper). Dave was both the selling and listing agent when my wife and I last moved. Like me, Dave grew up in San Carlos, and he knows the area inside and out. He was always quick to respond to my calls and e-mails and had the right take on things and is a straight-shooter and tells you straight up the proper characterization of an issue or decision at hand. When it came to negotiating the sale of our house, he knew which offers to avoid and which ones to proceed with and request if those offerors would increase their bids (and they did). He was with us when we met with the title company to close and he was clearly my agent and helped answer questions and to adjust various line items on the closing. If I ultimately sell the house that Dave found for us in Redwood City, I will be contacting him (but it may be after we are both retired given it is such a great house).
