I was looking for a real estate agent before I got to Florida. I emailed several highly rated ones and Bobby was the first to respond. Within minutes of talking to Bobby long distance I knew that this was my agent. He was personable, helpful and open to whatever I wanted as well as being available immediately. He listened to my wishes, asked a few questions to help me refine my vision and got right to work finding possibilities. He had an impressive list of houses to look at before I got there. When we started looking at houses he impressed me with his knowledge of the area, local resources and options. If he didn't know something he always found out quickly and got back to me right away.His devotion to his clients well being came to the forefront after we looked at a few houses and were comparing notes. I was talking about two houses where one was considerably more expensive than the other. He suggested the less expensive one and sighted reasons for his recommendation that fit my needs which showed insight into me.After some thought, I asked him if he wouldn't make quite a bit more commission on the more expensive house. He said yes but that he was more interested in what was right for me as his client. I could tell he was sincere. He was truly an agent working on my behalf. He also confided in me that he loves his work.He also had knowledge of what could and could not be done as well as personal knowledge of the ins and outs of local red tape. He gave ideas of how I might accomplish my wishes as well as names and numbers of local workers to help me out. He is still helping well after the sale. All I do is call him as ask for a reference and he responds.Closing was a breeze. I had a timetable and Bobby went out of his way to change dates to suit my needs and get all obstacles out of the way. This was not easy as the seller was a thousand miles away. Bobby's local contacts helped a lot. Closing took less than an hour with no hiccups.I have talked to several of his past and present clients and I have heard only good things. They all say that he is their only choice. WHen they move again they will call Bobby Mathews, as will I.
