When we first started our search for a home our mortgage lender pointed us in Jen's direction for a realtor. In this modern day of Zillow and virtual home tours we really didn't see the point in having a real estate agent. We were definitely wrong about that especially because we are first time home buyers. Our first interaction with Jen we looked at a house that didn't really stand out, but was in our price range. She didn't push us into making an offer and wanted to get a better understanding of what we were looking for in a home. After that she went over a presentation about the home buying process which was great because we only had a pre-approval letter from the lender. The housing market in Washington state is very hot and we would see a house online and in a week it would sell. Before we looked at any other houses we made sure to have our assets and income verified with our lender as Jen suggested so that our offer would be stronger. We toured another house in our price range and we liked it enough to put in an offer. There was another offer in place, and this is where Jen's experience really came in handy. Based on the other offer she came up with a strategy so that the seller would choose ours instead. The seller ended up picking our offer and we close in two days. Overall Jen is very knowledgeable about the housing market, she has a ton of experience, and is very responsive. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a real estate agent/realtor.

I am a fifty year old single woman and when I started out to buy my first home I had thought... Who would understand me better than another woman around my age? So, I started out with a female agent close to my age. She had scheduling conflicts, met me at properties that I found and took personal calls while leaving me to figure out what to look at and for, with no input, when I asked her questions she was evasive and it was clear she just wanted me to buy something (anything) so she could move on to other things, She had shown me approximately 4 or 5 places before I literally could not take it any longer. I was really frustrated and was not too excited about starting over with a new agent. Paul was recommended to me by my loan company and I figured Why not, how could it be any worse? As soon as I met Paul I immediately felt better! Paul is sincere, caring, intelligent, a good listener and answered my questions honestly (even when it was not what I wanted to hear!). I found my home fairly quickly and Paul was there for me EVERY step of the way! I am not going to lie... I was panicked some of the time because I decided to purchase a Short Sale. Paul was there though! I hope that I will be in my home forever but if I am not, Paul would be the only person that I would want to be there to help me... again.If you are wondering if this is high praise... Yes, it is! I mean every single word of it!
