Incredible is too diminutive a word to describe the service that I received from the the Chris & Kerri Hanley team at Sothebys. The house that I had to sell was not easy. It was an investment property who's value had significantly decreased since I had purchased it in 2005. It had been rented for several years, but with the rent I was receiving, I hardly had enough to pay half of my monthly mortgage on the place. As a result, there was a considerable amount of deferred maintenance. When the Hanley Team stepped in, they reviewed the entire situation, made suggestions of repairs that absolutely had to be made, suggested local folks who could do what needed to be done at a fair price and followed up to be sure that what I had asked to be done was done properly. Needless to say, this is the most attentive, hard working real estate group that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They found me a buyer who paid my price, but besides that, they negotiated with my lender to make certain that my sale would be as smooth as possible. The Hanleys know St. Croix better than anyone. I don't think there is anyone on that Island who doesn't know who they are, and everyone has a good word to say about them. I give them my highest recommendation and would use their services again without question.
