All are NOT EqualaEUR|..Experience and being an expert in the geographic market does count!I began my journey 6 months earlier with another RE Broker, who was a long time acquaintance. While the previous RE Broker treated me respectfully and did all that was in their power, in a complex and shifting market, this RE Broker didnt have all the skill sets to successfully guide me and the sale of my home. I felt as though I was driving the RE Broker and not the other way around. I believe this spoke to level of experience. The listing (6 months) expired, I was left with an unsold house, an uncertain selling future and a changing market. Having missed the aEURoehotaEUR? selling market, I went looking to reboot the listing, my experience and find a new RE Broker. I reached out to 6 respected RE Brokers in the Harbour Pointe area. I put forward a series of questions and solicited proposals from the 6 RE Brokers. All 6 Brokers responded with proposals on what they would do, complete with CMAs (in my opinion, comps are a dark art and can give a false sense of reality depending what the comparables are) and a recommendation of what price to relist the house. Recommendations of relisting price and recommendations were all over the lot. All but 1 of the Brokers actually followed up and met with me. The West team were one of the 6 respondents. I was fortunate to have another RE Broker in the background acting as a aEURoeconsultantaEUR? to me. This 3rd party Broker was NOT familiar with any of the 6 respondents nor the specific Mukilteo market, but understood what top notch Brokers do. Mike and Lani were aEURoeon top of their gameaEUR? and after considerable discussion and review with my 3rd Party RE Broker consultantaEUR|..it was clear that the West team had what it took and I decided to go with them in September 2018 for the following reasons: 1. No nonsense - Mike and Lani did not sugar coat the market and were clear and on the money when it came to the CMA, relisting price and what needed to be done to the house, for the price point. 2. They are experts - Mike and Lani understand and are experts in the local Market (that means, Mukilteo and specifically Harbour Pointe). This is the only way they put bread on the table. They dont have a fall back and therefore are professionals in this arena. 3. Experience counts - having ridden good and challenging markets, they are unflappable and stay on top of what is happening.4. Marketing - Mike and Lani had a great marketing program that hit a multitude of sites, demographics and modalities. The market is shifting in where buyers look - the West team stays on top of technology and not only stages for a great photo shoot and write up, but populates into a number of online sites and follows them up. 5. Staging - While staging can be personal, Mike and Lani had a great sense of what a potential buyer candidate is wanting to see.6. Driving to completion - Mike stays on top of the transaction from the first offer all the way to closure (passing papers).7. Flexibility - Every transaction is different! Mike and Lani have the experience to adjust quickly to market changes and are in constant communication. I did not have to drive once and Mike carefully acted as my advocate and advisor. When it came to inspection and later transaction details, Mike carefully guided me to decisions that were in my best interest and I closed the transaction, end of November 2018, with the best possible outcome; aggressive timeline, solid contract and best possible sell point given the market. We highly recommend Mike and Lani. They are ultra professional and very personable. We appreciated their patience with us as we thought we were going to sell our house 5 years ago. We changed our minds at the time. Mike and Lani stayed in touch and when we decided to sell this spring, they were ready to make it happen. When my husband & I were relocating from Mukilteo to St. Louis for work, we wanted a realtor that brought strong local knowledge for our unique, sound-view home. Our next-door neighbor had sold their home in a matter of days in 2020 using Mike and Lani West - they couldn't say enough great things about them. So with that referral and our research, we asked for a meeting with them... Mike was super-fast in responding. It was clear from our first phone call that he went above-and-beyond to learn about the market - citing economic trends and sharing his insights/ learnings. We arranged a date/ time for him to see our home. In our first in-person meeting, we observed just how professional and put-together Mike & Lani are. Both are very charismatic and knowledgeable - they were on top of the details, Lani taking copious notes and asking thoughtful questions. From that point on - if I were to sum up our experience with them - they made our lives SO easy + you can look forward to delightful surprises. We received a card and bakery goodies shortly after our initial meeting, what a nice touch! We wanted to declutter our home by moving some furniture to a local storage unit. They have a moving truck which we used over a weekend to accomplish that, really took the stress/ cost out of that task. In the photography, it's clear that they have a meticulous eye for detail and they really made our home/ yard shine! When I opened up the brochure they designed for our home, I was blown away and all I could say was, aEURoeWow!!aEUR? Our home was set to go on the market just as we received news of record high temperatures that weekend. And, like most homes in the Puget Sound, we have no air-conditioning. I was very reluctant about how this would impact showings (+100 degrees in Mukilteo!). Mike and Lani were so patient and understanding. They listened to me vent and coached me through my discomfort. We went on the market, as scheduled, and while I was pretty nervousaEUR| thank goodness I followed Mike and Lanis impeccable advice as we received an unbelievable offer in < 24-hours on the market. The buyer's agent was someone Mike/ Lani had done a deal with just months earlier. It was abundantly clear that their relationship with the agent + credibility in the local market was what landed us this unbelievably fast, above-ask offer. The closing process was effortless, Mike/ Lani handled all the details and kept us well-informed. On top, they worked directly with my husbands company's relocation agent with ease. A corporate relocation creates a lot of extra paperwork/ bureaucracy, and Mike/ Lani handled it with no concern. Highly recommend - you'll enjoy their professionalism, detail-orientation, local relationships/ market expertise, and their intellect coupled with an easy-going approach.

We contacted Windemere Real Estate in Edmonds because we were interested in buying a home in the Edmonds area. Chris replied to our initial inquiry promptly and we had a meeting with him at the local office. At the meeting, Chris seemed very professional and explained the current market and buying process to us and took notes of what we were looking for in a new home. He listened intently to us, offered good advice and seemed generally very competent. While we were looking and during the buying process, Chris always replied promptly to our questions and concerns. When we decided to make an offer, he helped us arrange a useful house inspection on short notice and had all the paperwork ready to go within a very short time. The property owner and selling agent were impressed with the completeness and accuracy of his offer paperwork. The owner chose our offer and we now own a beautiful new home thanks to Chris.
