Trying to find a house in these unprecedented times as a first time home buyer seemed like a daunting task until I was paired with Michael Harper. He was extremely knowledgeable of the local market, responsive to my countless questions (and there were a ton!), and really listened to my needs and concerns. Before meeting Michael I saw a few homes with local realtors and the process with them versus Michael was like night and day. Michael, from the first meeting, walked us through homes and taught us some neat quick tips and tricks. After each home, and there were many, he stopped and asked what our likes and dislikes were. He put into perspective what it means to buy and own a home while teaching us valuable lessons on what to watch out for during house-hunting. He truly made us feel welcomed, relaxed and worth the time he was putting in. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and I cannot sing his praises enough. He made a very stressful time (house-hunting during the COVID 19 pandemic) calm and relaxed; I've never felt so comfortable with a realtor before! He is an overall great guy who truly wanted the best for us and our first home. As Mike would say "I don't ever want you to buy a house you don't love, so no pressure! Let's keep looking." He never pushed us to buy a home or made us feel like a burden for wanting more. We fell in love with a house and he steered us in the right decision-making process to get the house we really wanted! He joined us on our inspection and closing, too! All in all, we bought a great house at a great price and with impeccable service from an absolute rock-star of a real estate agent. I would recommend him not only 100%, but 1000%! Michael is the kind of guy you see at a coffee shop and could strike up a conversation with about anything. A down-to-earth guy whose diligence and perseverance can't be matched is the kind of guy you want and need in your corner and I am proud to have bought my first home with Michael Harper.
