Sam contacted us regarding our For Sale by Owner home as a buyers agent. I had received numerous calls from buyers agents who first demanded a commission agreement or % before even bringing their clients through. Needless to say, I was hesitant. But Sam was kind, professional and showed complete loyalty to his buyers and their home search. I could tell his clients were #1 and he had a commitment to their happiness, yet Sam didnt make us, the sellers, feel any less significant. Sam was extremely fair, straightforward and helpful during the entire transaction. He was always available to answer our questions and make sure we fully understood every step in the process. Negotiations, special requests, extended close - all were handled in such a professional manner, yet we had an immediate level of comfort and trust in Sam. I met Sam through networking within the public service community. He was friendly and professional. He didn't badger me, which was probably the standout quality that made me enlist his help. He taught me about Homes for Heroes and whenever I had questions, Sam was quick to answer. If he didn't know, he went the extra mile to find out. And he drove miles and miles to help me find a home. He knew the area that I wanted to live in; even though it was a decent commute from where he lived, he was more than willing to go the distance. I remember his shoes-- always dress shoes, even in two feet of snow! But that's Sam...not just a realtor but a total class act. We found not only a partnership, but a friendship, and he found us our home. I'm proud to say I know him, and I can't wait to recommend him.

TL:DR- 10/10 would recommend; honest and patient, communicates well and negotiates smartly. Sam was an All-Star real estate agent! My wife and I knew from the moment we met him that he had OUR best interest in mind...not looking to make the most money for himself or looking for a fast and easy sell. He made sure that he found the right home for US! Sam's personality and easy-going demeanor calmed our nerves, and allowed us to think clearly and communicate well with him in all matters related to the home-purchasing process. He respected our novice in the home-purchasing and viewing process. Sam provided us with information needed to make educated decisions, and respected our opinions and input. He was very willing to have us be very involved in finding houses online and in person, and did a tremendous job of accommodating our requests and needs. Sam's honesty and experience in the real estate profession was a great benefit to my wife and me along the whole way, from meeting him to closing on our home. His knowledge in negotiating benefited us and allowed us to get a great deal on a wonderful home.
