Tom helped us during a very stressful, yet exciting, time in our lives. He was much more than a realtor to us. He learned about our families needs and wants, then exceeded our expectations. We needed to upsize and have a different layout. We wanted a one story home with an open concept and split floor plan. Most importantly, we wanted our 3 children to have their own bedrooms and my husband needed a private office. The one thing we wanted most (but didn't think we could afford) was a large yard, at least 3 acres. We reached out through Zillow, I believe the beginning of March 2020, and was matched with Tom. The first home we saw was not for us, however, we immediately knew we wanted Tom to be our realtor. He was so personable, didn't rush us, had a tremendous amount of knowledge, and we felt comfortable with him. My husband and I thought the "perfect" house was not out there for us, so we started looking for land as well. I didn't think we would ever find a piece of land we could afford and also be able to afford to build a home on it. Our finances at this time had changed because of covid19 and we were almost ready to just settle on something. We asked Tom to take us to two homes one day. We liked them, but it still wasn't "perfect". He then contacted a builder he knew and asked what he had available. Tom was able to set up a meeting with the builder that evening. He took us to a home that was almost done being built and the layout of the home was amazing, however, the land was not what we wanted. He then took us to home that was being framed on 3.22 acres. It was listed as a 3 bedroom, so this house was never on our radar. The builder said he could convert the flex space into another bedroom and the third car garage into an office. We were sold! If it hadn't been for Tom, we would have never found this amazing home.Tom helped us prepare our old house to sell. He walked us through what should be renovated and what should be fixed to pass inspection. We took his advice and we were able to sell our home at a great price and our inspection passed perfectly.We are currently living in our dream home on over 3 acres, and it is affordable for us! I never thought this would happen for our family this soon and it would have never been made possible without Tom.
