Prior to putting our house on the market, Amy gave us advice on some minor remodeling---painting, yard perk-ups, and minor tiling in one bath, which we followed. She also gave us some staging advice---removal of a couple of pieces of furniture which I would have left in the house, but which really did open up the space and make it appear larger. She took beautiful pictures of the house, and made a very nice online ad and flyers for the yard sign. Her advice on pricing the house was perfect! We priced our home higher than we originally thought we would price it, we had 2 offers within 24 hours, and we sold it for above the asking price....all in a "down" market! Within 24 hours, our house was sold for much more than we dreamed we could sell it for!!! Side note--a house down the street, which is the EXACT same floor plan, went on the market the same day ours did, priced a little bit higher, not as updated in style, and not staged as well. It sat on the market for 10 months. They sure could have used Amy's advice for a faster sale!
