While I've known Adam for over 10 years now, it wasn't until 2010 or so before I actively looked to purchase a home. I had lived in the same dingy apartment for 7 years and was comfortable there (hey, the price was right!), but as I was a few years into my career at that point, I was looking for the comforts of a house.I reached out to Adam after working with a few other local realtors, who were simply content to just throw house-buying opportunities without really knowing what I was actually looking for in a house. Adam took note of those qualities and said he's keep an eye out for me.It just so happened that I was working in North Dakota one Friday morning when I received a text message from Adam telling me he found THE house and wondered if I had time to chat. I called him, and despite being 5 hours away, he told me all about this opportunity. I was so intrigued by this house - moreso than any others I had looked at in the last three years - that I finished up working with that client a bit early to drive back, as Adam had arranged a visit to this house that evening.Now, here's where Adam REALLY shines. Adam's sister was getting married in Minnesota that weekend, so he was leaving to attend her big day, as any good brother would. Not only did he make arrangements with the very nice older couple that was moving to Sioux Falls and selling this house for me to take a last-minute, late-evening visit to the house, but after I determined that it was exactly what I was looking for even LATER that night, he began to make the arrangements. I told Adam that I wanted to put an offer in on the house, and we went through a few different negotiations that weekend, despite Adam being out of town for his sister's wedding. Don't worry, he didn't take any phone calls during the ceremony!A week or so later, the paperwork was finalized, and I was officially the owner of the best purchase I've ever made... this wonderful house. If Adam hadn't been keeping an eye out for me, or if he had simply told me that he couldn't help me out as he was attending his sister's wedding, this house would have been snatched up off the market quicker than you can say "dream home."I owe this house and the three great years I've lived in it to Adam's ability to really listen to his clients and have their best interests in mind. I recommend Adam's skills to anyone that will listen, and most people are smart enough to listen, and Adam has taken care of them just as he has for me. Adam is not only a great real-estate agent, even more importantly he's a pillar of our community, a great father and husband, and a good friend. Thanks, Adam...f or all that you do!
