I cannot say enough good things about Landon. My story is probably not common as I didn t originally start out with him as my realtor, but The Lord was looking out for me by putting him in my path over and over again. I signed with an agent who was not professional, to put it nicely....I had never even met her, not once. My sister used her so I thought, well she has to be good . Not the case, lesson learned the hard way. I would recommend researching your agent thoroughly versus just using someone a family member recommends. Lol reviews can be helpful but also you have to realize you re dealing with some people who are never pleased and go with the majority of overall happiness. I lucked out because Landon was the agent who showed me the majority of the homes for the other agent , she never showed me a single home in the (I think) 7 homes I looked at. I found him to be very knowledgeable about what to look for and what concerns to be aware of. He would look at all the high dollar fixes and tell me roughly how long he estimated the lifespan remaining on it would be, when to anticipate replacement. A single mother of 3, I wanted something I could afford and keep up on my own without depositing thousands to repair upfront. I took my brother in-law on the first viewing but after that I didn t bother with dragging him along because I trusted Landon s advice.That was huge bc my experience with the other realtor was horrible and trust was greatly inhibited. She was undoubtedly after her payout and not for her clients at all. Landon is the opposite and goes above and beyond. He saved me from paying her after I decided I could not continue on with her and she wanted to charge me thousands for her services ...he literally offered to split his commission with her! ?? Who does that?! He s outstanding. He did all the work and she still got half bc he was trying to help me out of a bad situation.If you re searching for the perfect agent, you won t find them, but if you re searching for an all around good person who takes pride in the career path he s chosen, don t look anywhere else. He would show me homes anytime of day or evening....he literally made me a priority. Very impressive. I hope you don t make the same mistake I did and skip ahead to hiring him right off the bat. THANK YOU LANDON WOOD for everything you did for me and my family.
