My wife and I engaged Amanda Cox in a purchase of a hone in Lake Charles, La. I was selling a home in the Orlando Florida market and depended on Amanda to guide me in the right direction as to our preferences in a home and location. Our primary contact with Amanda was my text and email. She listened closely and would send us leads which were spot on. We could not buy a home until we sold our home in Orlando which made Amanda's Job more difficult. We could not meet consistently . We met with her three times to get to know one another and she would show us different parts of Lake Charles over a two and a half month period.. She was very informed with the area having grown up in the area, there was not a question she didn't have an answer for or could get very quicklyOn each occasion she would educate us about the area and builders.Her real work began when we got a contract on our home in Orlando. She was able to put in a contract on a home in Lake Charles. Just prior to extending an offer on a home, we flew in and she arranged to have 5 different vendors and a home inspection individual to meet us at the purposed new home within a two hour time frame. Not only did they meet us, we ended up using them all and they proved to be very professional, reasonable priced.When the buyers in Orlando hit a snag, she was able to negotiate an extension on the home in Lake Charles.Every time I mentioned Amanda's name in town, Everyone knew her and spoke highly of her.If you buy or sell a home in the Lake Charles area and do not use Amanda, you are not using the best in town and are doing yourself a dis-service.PS My wife wanted me to say that Amanda is very nice.
