I cant say enough good things about Lisa. I was working with another agent who I was not happy with and reached out to view a home Lisa was showing, and after meeting with her I knew she was the perfect real estate agent for me, even if the house she was showing me wasnt. After several months and many viewings we were able to find my first home. As a first time home owner there were many unknowns, but Lisa was able to walk me through all the steps of the process and was available whenever I needed her. The sellers side of my transaction was very difficult to contact, but Lisa was persistent and made sure I got the answers I needed. She was also very frank with me about what I should and not expect from the seller as far as concessions. I have been in my new home for a few months and cant thank Lisa enough for all the help and guidance she gave me. Lisa worked with us to find a vacation home in the Lake Placid region. Let me start by saying we went through several realtors before we found Lisa. Once we found Lisa the search process went from a necessary evil to a fun and exciting part of our lives. Lisa worked with us for nearly a year before we found the home we ultimately purchased. In that time we learned a lot. Here are a few of the best things about Lisa: 1) She's super responsive. Some of the realtors we encountered were less than professional in this regard. Lisa responds to email and phone calls immediately. 2) She understood what we were looking for and did not send us dozens of irrelevant listings. 3) She's reliable. We requested to see a lot of properties. Lisa was always able to schedule a showing during a time that fit our schedule and she was always there before we arrived. 4) She's knowledgable about the process. We were coming from NYC and had not purchased a home before. Lisa was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. 5) She's knowledgable about the area. Lisa has given us excellent recommendations on everything from an attorney to someone to plow our driveway. Just incredibly helpful. 6) Most importantly, Lisa is just super nice. She never makes you feel pressured in any way, has a positive attitude, and knows when to be available to answer questions and when to give you some space to explore a property on your own. I highly recommend using Lisa if you are looking to purchase in the area.
