Lisa worked with us to find a vacation home in the Lake Placid region. Let me start by saying we went through several realtors before we found Lisa. Once we found Lisa the search process went from a necessary evil to a fun and exciting part of our lives. Lisa worked with us for nearly a year before we found the home we ultimately purchased. In that time we learned a lot. Here are a few of the best things about Lisa: 1) She's super responsive. Some of the realtors we encountered were less than professional in this regard. Lisa responds to email and phone calls immediately. 2) She understood what we were looking for and did not send us dozens of irrelevant listings. 3) She's reliable. We requested to see a lot of properties. Lisa was always able to schedule a showing during a time that fit our schedule and she was always there before we arrived. 4) She's knowledgable about the process. We were coming from NYC and had not purchased a home before. Lisa was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. 5) She's knowledgable about the area. Lisa has given us excellent recommendations on everything from an attorney to someone to plow our driveway. Just incredibly helpful. 6) Most importantly, Lisa is just super nice. She never makes you feel pressured in any way, has a positive attitude, and knows when to be available to answer questions and when to give you some space to explore a property on your own. I highly recommend using Lisa if you are looking to purchase in the area.
