I was lucky to meet Jules while I was hunting for a place in Brooklyn. I was looking for a replacement property in a 1031 exchange transaction and time was of the essence. From our very first phone conversation to the day of closing, Jules was absolutely indispensable in what ended up being a difficult and frustrating experience for various reasons. He won the bidding war against a competing offer and proceeded to see the purchase through with steadfast focus and dedication. In the process of dealing with a very difficult seller, where, among other things, no meaningful information about the history of property taxes could be obtained, Jules showed resourcefulness by researching similar properties and extrapolating the findings. He advocated on my behalf at every step, while the seller's attorney kept creating stressful situations of having to sign the contract multiple times, as well as not committing to the closing date. Everything worked out for the best in the end in no small part due to Jules's involvement. He has a deep knowledge of the market, understands the nuance of successful negotiations, and navigates the intricacies of researching a place when information is not readily available. He also knows exactly what to look for and pay attention to when assessing a place for comfort and value.
