I met Joe Buck by chance at an open house. I immediately connected with his laid-back personality. He asked what we were looking for, took down our info, and began to periodically send us pocket listings for Manhattan Beach. It was clear from the beginning he had an extensive network, as well as the inside track on listings before it hit the market. About a month or two later, he sent us a listing that sounded amazing, but was not ready to show yet. He got in contact with the listing agent and convinced her to let us see it. After seeing in person, we knew we wanted the house. Joe worked tirelessly with his team to come up with a fair market valuation. We deeply appreciated that he recommended a lower offer price and really looked out for our interest. We decided to offer a slight premium so that the house would not hit the market, and he was accessible late at night and early in the morning to ensure our offer was written and accepted before it went on MLS. He explained the counter terms carefully so we understood and felt comfortable to accept. Then he recommended a lender who could ensure our loan in 10 days. Best part is, the lender he recommended was awesome to work with and provided a more competitive rate than the one we had been using! The buying process can be stressful, but Joe was on top of it every day, making sure we got the appraisal and inspection done quickly. He had a great relationship with the listing agent and we were in lockstep during the whole escrow process. Joe also recommended a fantastic ners insurance guy, who offered such a competitive rate that we converted our auto and umbrella insurance over. Since closing our home two weeks ago, Joe has checked in a couple times to see how were settling in. Hes provided multiple referrals for everything from TV installation to gardener. We are happy to have worked with Joe and his ReMax team and will recommend him going forward

I think buying a home is probably in the top 5 most stressful experiences in life. With all of the paperwork and rushing around, I can tell you that if you don't have Greg or someone with his connections and experience handling everything for you, I can't imagine you'll ever close. There was no thinking involved with Greg. He told us absolutely everything that was going to happen or that needed to happen for us to buy our home. We were pitted against 8 buyers, 3 of which were all cash and we got the house while not being cash buyers all due to his closing strategies which I can't share but were really cool and now we live in an incredible dream home that we weren't confident in getting. Certainly not using any other realtor that's for sure...thanks so much Greg for all that you did and continue to do!
