Meryl is not just a real estate agent, she is a person who cares DEEPLY for the needs of her clients. This is not an exaggeration...I have never been more pleased with working with any professional. Everyday I walk into my sweet abode and send off a prayer of thanks. When my life situation changed and I was unsure what to do...I called Meryl. There are many realtors in this area...but I knew that Meryl is spiritually lead to be of service to others. Within hours of listing my house, Meryl had it sold and at an amazing price. Although incredible ...the reality was daunting because I wasn't sure where I was to move. It became evident that she understood my fear. The successful sale of my house was not her end goal, her job was not over until I was totally safe and settled. A week later she found the perfect, sweet condo for me. We were planning a permanent move from Connecticut and visited Daniel Island in late July of 2016. We met with Meryl who provided us with a detailed review/overview of Daniel Island - the history, the development process and likely growth over the next 2 - 5 years. It was an amazing, all encompassing overview and not at all a "sales" pitch. She then spent the better part of three hours with us looking at properties that fit within our prospective price range and style. The "tour' included all the amenities of Daniel Island as well as the Club. We left knowing that we wanted to move to Daniel Island. Over the next 15+ months, Meryl sent us frequent updates - as to properties and other activities on Daniel Island. We returned over Thanksgiving 2017 and Meryl assisted us inn narrowing our criteria to focus on what we thought we really wanted. She was superb - she challenged us to reflect openly and honestly about what we liked or did not like about all the house she showed us. The process was incredible for us as we left with a much clearer idea as to what would make sense for us and what the alternatives might be (new construction vs. existing houses). She and her partner, Edie Coupe, were able to find us a short term furnished rental for when we were to move permanently in mid-December and focus on the final search. Over the next month she followed up weekly with new properties and Daniel Island updates. In early January Meryl and Edie made sure that we were focussed on properties that really made sense for us (and challenged us to articulate this - very important for us!). We made an offer on January 8th and closed on January 26th. We are convinced that this would not have happened without Meryl, and her partner, Edie, working tirelessly on our behalf. They were thorough, thoughtful, patient - above all they wanted to make sure that we were going to make the right long-term decision. We are thrilled and so very thankful! They are the epitome of 'genuine client service' and are absolutely the best 'ambassadors' for Daniel Island and the community!
