We cannot recommend Cynthia more if you are thinking about either buying or selling a home. In 2015, Cynthia helped us purchase our first home in Pasadena. She helped guide us through the process as new homebuyers and navigate the various stages of the offer, acceptance, and negotiation process. But it was clear that was not going to be the end of the relationship with Cynthia. She continued to check-in with us over the next several years to see how the home was treating us and how our family was doing. It was clear that a home purchase was not just a one-off transaction for her, but rather the start of a long and friendly relationship. That is why when we began thinking about upgrading to a larger home in 2020 we reached out to Cynthia again. During the pandemic, she helped us arrange 25-30 showings, meeting us at practically every one and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of each home in detail. Behind the scenes, she was reaching out to her contacts to see if she could get information on houses coming on the market so we could be one of the first families to see them. When we made multiple offers where we were outbid, she remained confident and kept telling us that the right house would come our way. And it did - after 7 months and 7 offers, we found the perfect forever home for our family. Cynthia helped us craft a very strong offer and supporting package that appealed to the sellers and secured us the home. Because Cynthia had become so invested in our journey, she was as, if not more, excited than us about the victory. But the work didnt stop there. Cynthia then immediately shifted to helping us sell our first home. She arranged for all of the necessary materials and contractors to get our home in the best shape possible for the sale. Her eye for aesthetics helped us stage the house to be the most appealing to the widest audience possible. And when we finally put the house on the market, again during the pandemic, Cynthia was there to show it to nearly all 25 families over a 4-day period and synthesize all of the feedback and offers in the easiest way for us to make a decision. We ended up securing a sales price well above asking and couldnt be happier. While bittersweet to have sold our first home where one of our children was born and tons of memories as a family were made, we couldnt have asked for a better real estate agent to help us navigate all of those emotions. And we would be remiss if we didnt mention Victoria and Stephanie, who also helped us immensely throughout the process of buying and selling a home during the pandemic. Having Cynthia and Mark as realtors was one of the best decisions we ever made! Even though we sold in a tough market, with their help with photography and staging, we were able to make our townhome stand out from the competition, which resulted in multiple offers within the first week, and we ended up getting our asking price. We were thus able to start looking for the single family home we always wanted. Here, too, Cynthia and Mark were amazingly patient and cheerfully showed us around for several weeks until we found the right place, and then helped us put together a winning bid (against five other bidders, including an all-cash offer). Cynthia even made it a point to walk our offer over to the seller personally; it's little details like that which can sometimes make the difference. Even after we have been living in our house for several years, they have provided us with a wealth of knowledge (from recommendations for plumbers, to interior designers to tax accountants). They are not only wonderful people to be around, also their integrity and experience make them top realtors in the area. We have no reservations about giving them our strongest recommendation.
