We got paired with Jody after we decided to purchase our first home in Maryland due to job relocation. At the time, we didn't know much about the home-buying process, areas to live in Maryland, or much of anything for that matter. Jody took us under her wing and made the process a breeze. She was always available to answer any questions and was extremely helpful in every way. With the volatility of the 2022 housing market, we were having trouble securing a home at first, but Jody assured us she'd be able to find us something. In no time we had an offer accepted thanks to Jody's skills and effort. After that, she continued with us through the process even after we closed on the house. Jody was introduced to us by Steve Murphy who sold our previous home. We searched for close to a year taking breaks off and on for our wedding and other life events. Throughout Jody was always patient and nice to work with. We never felt pressured. When we finally found our house it was a last minute addition to other listings we were seeing that day. We immediately knew that we wanted to make an offer on the home and Jody helped us prepare an offer the same day, calling the listing agent in advance to notify her that an offer was coming. Jody also advised and assisted us with putting terms on the offer requiring a quick acceptance, which we felt went very well.Throughout the contract process, home inspection, roof inspection, chimney inspection (all on separate days I will note) Jody was available and present representing our interests. We presented quite an extensive list of repair requests after home inspection in which the sellers agreed and Jody again managed the list through closing and made sure everything was completed fully.We would recommend Jody as an agent. She is very responsive and knowledgeable. We felt our interests were represented well.
