We began working with Dale Moody because he came highly recommended from multiple friends and was a longtime friend of my wife from growing up. He was very knowledgeable about the process and the North Raleigh area, since this was the first home we needed all the advice we could get. Cornerstone Properties app was very helpful and allowed us to search and communicate directly with Dale as well as provided real time updates on properties as their status changes. Dale was honest with his options and express them if a property did not impress him for one reason or another. We looked at multiple homes before we found the one and when we did Dale made it very clear it would be a solid purchase that would pay dividends, then he explained just what those dividends would be. We put an offer in on the house and the process started, there were multiple counter offers over the course of a Saturday evening and even though Dale was at a friend?s wedding he worked the deal while at the reception. This really impressed me, I kind of felt bad but it showed his dedication to his clients. He was a bulldog when it came to negotiating the sale and what should be included in the sale. Our offer was accepted and the purchase process started, for the next month Dale and I were in contact almost every day about updates on the process, issues that arose and how/when they would be resolved. Our mortgage officer made a comment that our realtor spoke to her more often than we did, gathering updates and seeing if there was anything further he could do to be of assistance. The night before we closed the sellers were moving out and dinged up some walls, Dale was in combination with them as soon as he was notified and had the issue resolved quickly with a solution that satisfied both ourselves and the sellers. The next day we signed and it was all over. Dale did an excellent job and I dont think it could have gone any smoother. A month later my wife and I still talk about how blessed we were to have found our beautiful home and work with an experienced realtor/company and friend.

Dale was recommended to me by a friend, and I am happy my friend recommended him. The first item that I looked for that Dale had was local knowledge. It was important to me to have someone who was raised in the area and is a lifelong resident. I am a transplant (like many people in the triangle), but I recognize that knowing the local area over a long period of time is important to evaluating real estate. In our initial discussions, Dale and I came to an understanding of my goals in the process. Some people?s goals are different, and Dale takes note of overall goals during the search process. I am single, so my needs and expectations would differ from those of a family. I like the fact that Dale is responsive over text messages and/or email. Many things are able to be handled online like signatures for acknowledgements (some are not). Dale is also very knowledgeable about home construction. Many times he can see defect that are certainly not apparent to me, and might not be noticed by other agents. This helps eliminate certain locations from consideration quickly. I made several offers before finding the right place. During the negotiation phase, Dale gave good advice at each stage, and was right every time. He was available during closing to answer many of the basic questions I had (note, I am a first time buyer, so the process can be rather confusing). As a result of this experience, I do recommend Dale as a real estate agent to all my friends.
